WEEKDAY DIVE BUDDY NEEDED!!

Post by Echo »

I've been relocated for work and has resulted in a 3/12s (fri-sun) work schedule.
Now that weekends are no longer feasible for me, I now need a weekday/night buddy.

Welcome Erika,

There are a number of us who dive regularly during the week.

For starters, where are you located and which sites do you frequent on a regular basis? General experience level and whether you like to do something specific like scootering or shooting photos is helpful too.

I am in the Everett area, don't mind traveling and love experiencing new spots. I do shoot photos. I've been diving for about 2 years with 122 dives, I have been as deep as 126ft and frequent 100ft.

I am usually up for a later night dive (after 7) during the week. I am also a photographer. Usually prefer to stay above 80' so I can do one nice long dive.

I can handle drifts and pretty decent current.
I don't want my diving to slow down just because my work schedule changes.

Once I get myself into a new BCD and fins I would be up for weekday daytime diving. I am in the south sound though and usually stay from Three Tree south but can make drives to do some north sites that I have not done in years.

I myself need to do more diving then I did last year. New BCD and fins means I have to dial in my weighting again which I never really did with the old system I had. When I get my new gear and I am ready to dive I will let you know for sure.

I also have a small point and shoot camera but I dont always bring it. I am the one known for having the greatest winter dive buddy of all....... MR HEATER and his friend Canopy /W sides ;-) i am sure he is missed alot this year. :stir:

- I got a good squirt in my mouth
- I would imagine that there would be a large amount of involuntary gagging
- I don't know about you but I'm not into swallowing it

There are some of us who split it up an dive earlier. I know I can dive earlier as soon as I get my gear again. Is it Tuesday yet?

If I'm going to make an hour drive all the way down there, I better get at least 2 dives in :)

There is also a bunch of us from the Portland/Vancouver area that often come up to dive either Hood Canal or a south sound site on Wednesdays (not this one-everyone but me seems to be out of town). You're welcome to join us sometime if that will work for you. We generally meet at 9am and get 2 dives in before we head back south.
