This week looks good for me. I just got my twins so I'll likely be trying those out for the first time!

So, I'm planning on picking up a wetsuit and two tanks after work- we still on? :bounce:

At least 1 tank, possibly 2. Dave, are you coming? I want to try out my doubles and I could use a hand.

I just talked to Dave, he's coming. Meet there at 6:15, gear up at 6:30 and in the water by 6:45 - 7.

So, are there any other folks interested in the club dive tomorrow night? I'll be trying out my new twins and Dave will have his pair so I'm wondering if there is another single-tanker to pair up with Nailer99. If not that will work too. :bounce:

I'll just carry the second one in my arms....

I'm pretty sure I can switch out tanks without surfacing.

Anyway, I'll be there, and if there's nobody to pair up with, I'll just hang out and get some fish and chips, or see if there's another diver without a buddy to dive with there. You elitist double-tankers go ahead and have your fun!

Hmmmm- if nobody else is going, I might just bail out for this week- There's plenty of stuff I really should do instead; and I'm sure Calvin is dying to break his new doubles in right. Last thing I want to do is slow anyone down or make them cut their dive short.

We wouldn't be cutting it short, Josh. But you'd have to come up after your tank and we'd likely go back down after surfacing.... or, I might have problems with my rig and end it after 1 dive. It's up to you, we'd love to dive with you.

Oh- OK, well, if you're sure I wouldn't be too much of a drag, I really would love to get a dive in. One thing I've been noticing is that, underwater, I can't hear my cell phone ring, and I really like that! Whoops- there it goes again!

I did my first doubles dive today. It was awesome. Dave, Josh and I did a dive to around 95fsw, then we dropped Josh off after about 30 minutes to the buoy, in about 50fsw, then Dave and I headed out for another 40 minutes at around 85fsw and ended the dive with a final time of 1:05, with 1200 psi left (that's in two tanks, mind you). I had a great time and the rig was totally stable, wooooohooooooooo!

That was cool! Thanks for diving with me, both of you.

(Hey, Calvin, did you sleep with your new doubles next to the bed? Looked like things were getting serious between you and them!)
