How do you get to the troll? Have you been there before?

I looked through the Greenling section of my Coastal Fishes of the PNW and didn't see any that looked like this. Didn't look like a gunnel either so thought it might be a little wolfie.

Actually, looks like it might be a saddleback gunnel to me now that I have my books open.

Yes I have been there once before and can navigate back just fine. We will have to do a dive plan and see if you want to go there or not.

Do you need a buddy or already have one?

That's what I thought at first because it was green. But the penpoint gunnel doesn't seem to have vertical striping while the saddleback does. And saddlebacks can be green so I'm thinking saddleback.

Ok, maybe it is a penpoint. It has the line of while spots down the side which saddlebacks don't appear to have as much. Plus it looks like some penpoints do have vertical striping after all.

Yes I would live to have a buddy. I don't have one at this point. If the gas planning is an issue I can rent a 100 and lend you a 130 for this dive. Let me know if your up for it. I will be stopping at lighthouse in the next 20 minutes and filling tanks.
