Spent a wonderful morning / afternoon with a great group of divers! Huge thanks again to Penopolypants for organizing and hosting the club dive. You always make it such a great event. It was fun catching up with old friends, meeting new friends, and I hope to dive with all of you soon. Until next time! =)

Great seeing everyone and fantastic job organizing everything P-pants

Had (2) great dives, highlighted by Bucknaked and Bassman coming up with treasures galore!

As far as pics go, here are two of my personal favorites from the day. Same squid, one relaxed and one pissed. Thank God I don't turn colors with my emotions! I am a little bummed I didn't see the opalescent squid fest :-( Tom and Elise, please some pics pretty please

Sadly Jen and I could not go. I took our cylinders in for fills on Friday, but they needed a vis, and BB doesn't have anyone who can do that working weekends. :(

I really, really miss NWSD and even UWS Kirkland. I've never had a hard time getting a vis if I could leave cylinders overnight. It seemed like most of the staff in those places were certified to do a vis.

What a FABULOUS club dive! Thanks PPants- just wonderful, as always.

I always expect to have a great time with the above water activities, and this club dive certainly delivered on that. I usually expect the diving, however, to be marginal. I am happy to report that this was NOT the case at for this Club Dive! Had two wonderful dives, 30' viz at depth, tons of really cool critters, fun and hi-jinks with Bassman's junk collecting, and everything working "just" right. Wonderful day!

We'll see if I can get to some pics tonight...

Yeah, your camera and strobes might have captured the squid orgy a little better. I'll see what I can do, but don't get your hopes up. Elise, perhaps?

"Cute" seemed to be the theme of the day....

And not as cute... here's a few more. I actually started feeling sorry for Keith - it's bad enough to dive with me when I find a photographic subject to "work", then Elise joined us! I admit it here, she is "worse" that me - I thought we were going to have to physically drag her away from the Octo, the Opalescent Squid, and then the Lumpies at the end of the dive!

I believe so - of course their ability to change color is legendary. When they were chasing each other around to "do the deed" there was always one of them that was similarly colored.
