Was a lot of fun, meeting more new dive friends, diving with new friends, and enjoying both awesome vis and yummy food. Thank you Penopolypants for putting this together. Looking forward to doing it again! And thanks to Bob for bailing me out on my shortfill tank. Awesome pics everyone.

Those are not eggs. Believe it or not, they are a species of hydroid that prefers living on the shells of hermit crabs. They add a lot of color (usually pink) to hermit photos.

It sounds like everything was great. Sorry I missed it; the neck problem had me pretty well out of commission, and Kathy had an ear problem. I hope somebody missed us! Next time for sure, and I hope it's soon!

I had a Great time ( well, except for the camera flooding 30 seconds into the first dive... FRAK!!!) otherwise had a couple of great dives, some great food ("bacon frakkin' maple bars" Life doesn't get much better...) and a lot of great conversation... Oh and found a couple of cool bottles one of which is pre-1945 because that's when the Company closed, photos and more info when I find a replacement camera... Oh and found a small Blue Marnacle too, RoxnDox may have a pic or two... Very rare I'm told... Can't wait for the next one... Keystone???

That was fun! I learned a lot from listening to conversations and checking out other peoples gear. Pretty sad I wasn't able to dive, though. Sounded like perfect conditions.

Bring it to Alaska with us. We need another one for our boat!

In the meantime you can hang it on the wall in your living room. It will go perfectly with your nautical house theme, and I'm sure Jennifer won't mind, right?!

Sounds good - and I just have to avoid getting (*&^*%%*%*%^ sinus infections next time!

I did get a shot of the rare Blue Marnacle too (love the super-macro mode on the Oly ZX - now if only I could hold it this steady UNDER the water...).

If I remember correctly, The Boat up in Alaska has a mount on it!
