NW dive club BBQ weekend!!

OK who is interested in going to hood canal?? june 30-july2 looks like a great weekend according to tide log not to much exchange! If we can get some possible commitments and a general idea who wants to go, and what they will bring for potluck. If we know whos going then we can nail down logistics cost for trailer rental, camp sites or hotel reservations.

I'm pretty sure I can make it, I voted yes, but I'll know more this coming week. I need a break like this, I haven't had a day off in a couple months, and I won't for a while, so this trip would be a really cool tyhing to look forward to!

Sparky Mollie and the midget Aka ( Riley sparky's grand son )

Are in for a weekend of good friends good food and better diving

but I would like to sugest aalso staying at Mikes Beach resort
he has a drying room and plays movies at night we could drive down to Sund rock or Octo hole in just a few minutes and mike also has air

I could contact him for a rate quote if we know how many are comeing for sure

Damn you guys, setting up bbqs and stuff. Sounds like a very nice weekend indeeed, too bad I can't participate, I surely would like to do so.

well its not like your not invited or any thing you know
I keep telling you to get your arse back here and we can do some diving but NO you would rather jetset all over the world and dive exotic places instead

Wish you could make it too Bro be nice to have the hole club show up you know?

Well, we could take out one of the cell towers around here so Nokia has to send you back to fix it, just in time to take a dive trip with the club :walk:

Thats a good list of people, I will check on the house. It cost $125 each night for up to 6 people and then $25 addition dollars per person there after that. there are six divers and 3 non divers so that works out perfect.

Just to confirm it is june 30- July 2. I will most likely comeup the friday evening after work. It all depends on my shop. I hope not but I may have to bail last minute if shit is hitting the fan, or hits the fan. How doies that saying go?:dontknow:

My girlfriend, Connie, might be able to come. I'll ask her. It should be warm(er) by then so maybe she'll even dive with us $\:D/$

I'm sure more people will want to come as the time gets closer. Some peeps like Erik and Doug never check the site (don't ask me

).

One thing we need to do is collect deposits for this. I nominate BJ (Maverick) to take care of logistics, with support from us helpers of course.

I should be able to join Bassman for the trek, and as he said, we'll see about our wives.

I would bug out Sat evening to go back to Lakewood and do Church, but could head out again Sunday afternoon if there is still diving goin' on!

Tom just a thought but my wife is verry devoute and if you would like on Sunday morning she might be talked in to a bible study of some type

or some like activety

Just a thought I know she will be bringing her Bible she never goes any place with out it.

Hi Sparky! Would love to hear from your sweetheart, and Bible studies can be a blast if you do them right!

...and of course I wouldn't want to be "pushy" for any who don't share that persuasion! I also get to hang out with God when I'm diving in the great outdoors!

Bassman and I both play for our Church worship team (bass and guitar respectively), and since I'm the pastor I need to be there! I don't get too many Sunday's free, and if I do "burn" a Sunday this Summer I want it to be in Sitka with Diver Dave!

We're close enough that it won't be a big deal to head out for Sunday AM.

Tom : are you by chance the pastor I got to meet at Tacoma Scuba last satruday while I was viseting Brain ? he was helping me to make some adjustments to my Dive Rite Trans Pack

Im sure my wife and you will have lots to talk about then she is takeing a study course at our church that when it is all done with she will have
some type of a degree in something like theological studdies or some thing like that im not sure but I think its cool

looking foward to seeing you at the outting this should be a lot of fun
