1-3-2013 @ TTN for Thursday South Sound Dives

First Splash @ 2:00 second Splash @ 4:00 for a second dive
Or
6:00 Splash with an 8:00 Splash for a second dive

or any combination of those dives.

Anyone is welcome to come join us. just remember, anything after 4:30, becomes a night dive. you'll need a good light, a back up light and be comfortable with night diving.
The 4:00 splash is kind of like a dusk dive.




I just want to do two dives.

Who's in and at what times?

And why can't you dive on Thurs in the A.M.?

Bassman, EJ, and myself made it for 2:00. We all 3 got into the water, I had a few um, issues, and EJ and Bassman ended up doing the dive. The scuba gods did not smile upon me that day, sadly. Same amount of lead as I usually use, but I was unable to get below t he surface, and when I tried kicking down to get below neoprene squeeze depth I lost a fin. And was unable to bend enough to get it back on (*&(*&*^*^&*(*&)&* flexibility - or lack of...). And my computer decided it didn't have enough battery to run anyways. Soooooo, I went shoreward, they went down. Just one of those days I shoulda gone kayaking!

Hmmmmm, Sounds familiar. This whole last week at Port Townsend was like that! The scuba gods were not happy!

Had a couple of good dives with EJ, but vis, was less than expected (a cloudy, 15 foot) and the critters are few. But that didn't stop EJ from finding a Lumpsucker! Still playing with gopro footage.
Not much of a dive report.

Via at Port Townsend over the holiday wasn't all that great either and Murphy was present and doing his thing big time! Asif the weather wasn't bad enough, blown off the water 3 days, Equipment failures consumed the rest of the week. Including a very wet and cold 45 min. dive with Grateful diver on Saturday due to a suit flood bad enough I unzipped and poured warm water directly into my suit after the dive.
