Aug. 3 Battle Ground Lake Dive

I want to go dive Battle Ground Lake next Saturday. Never been there, but I'm an experienced diver. Who's in for this one? Need a buddy and the more the better, also looking to meet new people to continue diving

I don't want to be a party pooper, but BG lake is probably the worst dive I've ever done. It is a featureless shallow puddle with a flat muddy bottom. The highlight of our dive there was a Schlitz pull tab can and a one-armed crayfish.

If you want to dive a lake in the area, I'd recommend driving a little farther north and checking out Lake Merwin. At least there are rocks, old logs, and a few fish in addition to beer cans and one-armed crayfish.

Yeah I'm sure, but I've never been there myself and wanted to check it out. Just moved to this region so I want to check everything around. I could at least clean a bit if anything, but I would enjoy someone to go with. Do you how deep it may be? Someone told me close to 200' in the center of the lake.

200'? I think there's an extra 0 on that guess. Lol.

Deepest we saw was 30' and we swam a lot. Some people and websites say you can get to 50'-60' max.
