well last year a bunch of divers cancelled and it was a no go... so here is your chance to call in sick, and get your butt over to whidbey island and drift dive...

what do you need for this dive ?
a 119 or 130 tank
or Doubles...
Or a scooter for added fun..
You will hit a deco at 50 mins , but we usually shallow up to 25 feet and finish the drift
Happy diving attitude..

If you have never done a drift dive and you are wanting to exp a blast then this is the dive for you
I would ask if your going to show for this dive , that you have experience in current, boat diving in current, and skills in diving solo and being ok alone... we have had divers seperated on this dive..

Your map makes it look shorter than it really is. Isn't it just over a mile? [sarcasm]I want to go on record as one of the divers that didn't cancel on this dive last time.[/sarcasm] Now that I've said that I'm almost certain I will be working durring this one and can't bail on work. :angry:

If you dive a steel 120, you are obviously not allowed to attend this dive.

You will be maintaining a depth between 40 to 50 fsw throughout the dive. Last time I dove it with the group, I used an HP 100, but using anything bigger than an HP 100 is STRONGLY advised.

Maybe if you only dove straight air AND maybe if you used some god forsaken ultra conservative deco modeling

Wish I could be there but alas the only chance to see new granddaughter (about month old) before family moves to Anchorage AK

I am still in, but I wont know for sure until last minute basically. I am still off tomorrow, but this time of year it changes every day. So as long as I don't get called in tomorrow I am in. I will just text you tomorrow morning.

Scooting a drift dive? Kinda like walking on a escalator?

Its more like where we come up, and how far to swim to shore...

I'll confess I've been daunted by the cold weather. This does sound like a fun dive on scooter crack. I need to get one someday...
