I am also going to bring a bin with some miscellaneous gear (i.e. hoses, values, clips) that people can take for free. If anyone wants to throw items into the "giveaway" bin please do so. I will set the bin on the end of the bench for people to access easily :-) Should be fun.

I was under the impression I couldnt make it to this, but I sweet talked my boss and now I can! Anyone cool with buddying up with a novice? And if I could borrow a steel tank from someone an some weights (22 lbs), I could avoid rental fees which would be awesome.

What kind of weights do you need? I have a 16lbs weight belt and loose weights.

Awesome thanks! I have weight pockets on my bp/w, but a belt will do just fine if we can put some shot weight in my pouches. If I cant get ahold of a steel tank, Ill need more since Id be renting an AL80.

If you are getting (or borrowing) tanks, get two, since most people do at least two dives. I don't know if I can get my spare tanks filled by Saturday, unfortunately. If I can I'll let you use them.

Glenn Ayr Hotel/resort is nice, and if you get techy, right across the street is Glen Ayr Wall to 212 ft.

Is there a way to pre-reserve a pass, so we can show up before having to wait for the dive shop to open and go there? (assuming someone will get there early with a key?)

I don't think so. They need every diver to physically sign in for liability purposes. At least that is what I've been told. The only time I've received a key is on late night dives when they want me to lock up
