I was thinking we will probably just boil the crab, peel and eat. Unless someone brings a second boiler. Otherwise, we will need to boil the crab then dump the water and do the crab boil. That whole process could take well over an hour.

Oops, didn't see you were brining a cooker :) I will bring one too, so we can pull off a crab boil.

I have been tossing everything in the same pot and cooking it all together. The corn goes in first, then potatoes, and crab last. The crab only needs 15 minutes to cook after it gets tossed in, whole. Very tasty that way. I also add two 24oz cans of Bud to the water.

I've got a couple of chairs, and must bring a couple of things that I can eat without personal injury!

Unless there is crab. Crab.

Crab.

I dove Redondo this afternoon at low tide, and viz was maybe 6-7 ft. Hopefully, it improves for you all as the tides comes in this evening. The life was good though!

What a great time last night! Did two dives and got to finally meet some of the crew whom I'd only seen on the forum. Scubak was so happy to be dry! Great diving with you.
It was also great to see one of the famous Redondo BBQs in action. Yelloweye really pulls out the stops with all the food prep. Me, I keep it simple – boil water, throw in corn, then potatoes, then toss in the crab. Yum!
