Ththth 10/19

Post by Vjw »

Anyone up for diving this Thursday? If numbers low, how about three tree instead of redondo? Haven’t been to three tree for a long time ago....in a galaxy far away.....

Should be able to make it. Gdog, you want to try my 400g undergarment?

Howdy!
I'd be up, if there's not a storm! We'll need to watch the forecast...
I'm up for either site! TTN may be better if there's south wind.

I'm hoping to make it out this week. It'll be the last time I get a dive in relatively easily with my move to Vancouver, WA happening next week.

So we have about 8-9 people at this point. As you all know, Three tree has 3 parking spots, and the locals try to park in them to block access. So we have two choices; move the dive to redondo, or keep it at TTN and most of us will have to park out on the main road and do the walk. Input? What do each of you think about the options?

Either spot ok with me - since only 2 people last week (and I was one if them) I just thought it’s be great to go to three tree

So question, is everyone ok with knowing they may have to park on the main road and walk in, or do we want to move the location? Im good with either choice

Quantity might be a factor with T3

Splash at 3T would be into the beginning of a 12 foot exchange. So if parking isn't a deterrent, getting blasted by current may be!

I know that TTN is popular with this group, however, Redondo accommodates a larger group more easily.

I’m planning to join, but I agree with Eric – we need to watch the weather.

6:30 Meet / 7:00 Splash should avoid the Redondo river.

If we hold our dive time to one hour, then Gdog should be able to order prime rib ;-)

I'm out. Got house stuff to work on. Don't mind missing out on the crappy weather.

Good point on the big exchange. I think we should move it to Redondo, and hit TTN when things are more suitable.

My apologies - I didn’t know three tree was as current/tide dependent - thought it was more like Les Davis or Redondo. I’m not as familiar with northern sites but am glad to learn. :)

Hi
TTN current usually isn't an issue on ebb. And it does bode better than Redondo if there's a south wind.
Take a look at the topography, its in the lee.
Just FYI, either works for me, weather is looking maybe not too bad.

I am good with either. With that being said I think that there is enough of us planning on coming that Redondo would be better.

Well, I was hoping to be in. I'm out. Work was really bad yesterday and I'm behind on my packing schedule now because of it so I can't fit in the dive :(
