Yes, sadly... I have a 6:30 meeting that I need to be at, and I can't come in dripping from the 4 PM dive.... bummer. I'd love to dive with you again!

I am hoping to get to this one as well. i will be diving earlier in the day so might all depend on anything coming up that would stop me.

I cannot let another year go by with a handful of local dives.

OH and hopefully I will get my hands on a certain Milwaukee 12V heated vest I ordered to try out diving. I am sure it would not fair well if my suit flooded, but I am willing to take that chance.

Heavy rains and gusts up to 35 mph forecast for Thursday.

I want to get back in the water but might be a good night to avoid the weather.

Thanks for sharing Derek. Having just experienced Dondo recently under those conditions I would opt to skip the dive if it is that bad. Would three tree or cove 2 be better option?

Three tree would be more protected from the predicted south winds, and the ebb shouldn't pose any concern then. Viz would likely be better too.

However it looks like we would be over five cars.

I suggest we revisit the forecast Thurs and if it still looks bad hit ttn, trying to carpool from up the hill where possible.

I dove alki cove 2 and the junkyard tonight. Excellent vis and lots of life. So I have satisfied my itch for a mid-week dive. With the crappy weather I will probably stay home thursday. Hit dive number 25 tonight.

Hi Folks
Anybody have a drysuit a 6'3" guy like me could borrow for tonight's dive?
Twinkie, who is kindly fixing my suit can't make it. I think he had a class to teach, a class going viral on facebook.

I've heard a lot of offline votes for Redondo, so see you all there if you're comfortable with wave entries (keep your regs in at all times when not on dry land!!). I'll just do dive #2 if I can't get a loaner.
