Northwest Dive Club

What: Club Dive!
Where: Seacrest! AKA the Coves 1, 2, & 3 that we all know and love
When: Sunday, July 22nd, 9:00 a.m.!

I will bring barbecue basics - grill, tables, cooler, popup canopy, utensils, plates, burger patties, and ketchup/mayo/mustard. Plus crackcakes (sans peanut butter this time!)

Please bring a dish to share, such as potato salad, casseroles, desserts, or a packet of hot dogs, hot dog buns, burger buns, etc. Please post here what you are bringing so that we only have 20 bags of chips!

An extra popup canopy might be nice to provide some shade, if you have one to bring. Also bring: sunscreen if it's sunny, water, a chair for surface intervals, your dive gear, and your meet and greet face!

Looking for new buddies? Be there! Always wanted to put some avatars to some faces? Now is the time! Want to try out some gear, like a different type of fins, or a bp/w, or a different tank? Let me know, and I'll wrangle up some gear for you!

This is a "Big Buddy" dive, so if you are a "Little Buddy" (a new and/or inexperienced diver) and want to dive with a "Big Buddy" (a more experienced diver), let me know and I'll set you up. If you're willing to be a Big Buddy let me know that too!

Parking in the lot is limited to 2 hours - some days they check and ticket, some days they don't, so park there at your own risk.

I will bring an extra canopy, a table, some chairs. I can bring the camping stove too if needed.

I'm thinking I'll bring margaritas again, unless anyone is dead set on chi chis (Scubie Doo I know what your vote is).

I'm in and will bring some kind of fruit Pie. ...
Also I'll bring some Hebrew National Hot Dogs & Avacados/Bell peppers to put on top!!!

Well, after 3+ months, my drysuit finally came from Bare, so I'm in! I will bring some kind of dessert (cookies, cupcakes etc).

I would also love a "big buddy" as I'm still getting used to drysuit diving and it would be great to get some tips before I develop any bad habits.

Are we going to be more specific regarding which Cove we'll call home base? The small knoll opposite Marination at Cove 2? The grassy strip down by Cove 1? The grassy hill at the water taxi parking lot?

Might help folks plan & park.

I'll attend, bringing bright red canopy, table, chairs, plates/utensils and something or other to eat!

Most likely it will be on the area between Coves 1 & 2, but it will depend on who is set up where when we get there. I'll hang a NWDC shirt from my canopy.

Glad to hear your drysuit is back, jondiver, but 3 months is a really long time!!! I just sent mine back to Bare 3 weeks ago and they told me it would take 6 weeks. Using my old usia suit right now.

I plan on attending. I can be a big buddy, or photo buddy. Also have an extra pair of F1's if anyone wants to try them.

I was thinking of maybe bringing Epic Korean Beef Tacos.

Captain Phil hasn't been able to give me a hard time yet this year, so I will be out on the Lu Jack looking for candy stripe shrimp. Phil over the loudspeaker last year: "You guys going to go diving or just float there?" or "Did you guys even do the dive or just stay in one place".

I would like to come! Some family stuff may get in a way so it's a 90% chance now. "Little buddy" because I have never been to that site. Also I would like to talk to somebody who dives a wing and plate setup - not that I am buying a new gear tomorrow, just very curious!

I don't see any beverages in the list so far except margaritas. Unless this has been taken care of, I will bring water, lemonade and Corona-like beer (good in summer imho). Otherwise, I can bring a variety of snacks.

I’ll be bringing some vodka, rum and mixers for some frozen drinks (yes a blender too), and some Rocky Mountain Coors Light!

I'll be bringing some Coffee and supplies.
