Seal Rock Campground diving?

I'm always looking for new shore diving sites on my side of the water.

Has anyone dove at Seal Rock Campground near Brinnon? I know there's lots of boat diving in that area but wondering if you can still get a good dive from the day-use area at the campground.

The profile looks compelling... surely something interesting lives there, as "everything is everywhere, but the environment selects..." (spoken in Academia like a prayer :rawlings: )

I'd be keen to check it out too, if you're fishing for crew! In Coupeville though (ferries permitting...)

I’ve looked but was unable to find a spot to access the water

I was told down by the handicap parking is a good place to get into the water.
I've been waiting for the place to open to go check it out.

I'm probably headed down to Pt. Whitney Saturday afternoon (8/1) for a dive.

If so, I'll pop into Seal Rock Campground for a look-see and report back here.

We've dove there, boring. Easy shore access though

Hm. Well, checked it out anyway. Like FlyinV says, the 'handicap' parking, which is also the manual boat launch stairs, would be the place for entry.

There's lots of unmarked parking on that deadend little road. Doesn't seem like they should get too upset about parking there-- maybe check in with the camp host.

From the bathymetry, if you enter there and (facing the water) head to the left it looks like you should at least hit a good slope. By reputation there's seals in the area too. I'm ready to have a go!

Its just sandy slope though. We thought walls, but just slope.

Hmmm a diver who gave me a report there said she found some a bunch of smaller ledges and small shelves.
Perhaps you went too deep?

You can see from the map the slopes areas. It drops fast

Can an RV get in there? I'd be up for a trip if I can bring my 24'.
