Yakima Dive Club Invitation ...

Post by PapaZ »

The Yakima Dive Club invites you to join us.
We have two 'cubicles' open for you. (Each has full bed and a pull-out trundle).

The Yakima Dive Club Invites You To Join Us For A Weekend Of Diving And Social Interaction At The Yellow House In Hoodsport, Washington

The Adventure Shall Begin Friday April 30 And Curtail On Sunday May 2

Hooray, Hooray, Outdoor ___?___ Begins This First Day Of May

“The Cove”, The Yellow House’s dive area is located about 30 yards from the doors of the “Diver’s Inn”.

Explore its waters and venture to see octopi, wolf eels, nudibranchs, ling cods, rock fish, crabs, ratfish, seals and numerous other marine life.
A rope grid within The Cove is great to practice navigation skills and for reducing location anxieties for night diving. The guide ropes are within the recreational diving limits with one special rope that is for the tech divers that want to descend to 200 fsw.
Enjoy the ‘special artifacts’ spread throughout The Cove. Various sculptures, maritime vessels and other items make some interesting photo ops.

The ‘Diver’s Inn’ is the inside dive prep building. Gear storage, heated drying room, rinse tank, ½ bath, and benches accommodate diver needs. The outside rinse shower is nice to rid the saltwater.

A couple miles north are the Sund Rock & Octopus Hole dive sites.

“The Yellow House is a 3 level house.

Two bedrooms, one bath and an outside viewing deck with chairs to watch over Hood Canal are located on the upper level.

The main levels has one bedroom, one bathroom, full kitchen with all cooking needs, dishwasher, dining room, living room with wood fireplace, big screen TV, dvd player, dvds and numerous games. An outside porch with chairs to view the ‘canal’ complements this level.

Out the backside of the main level is a large BBQ, oyster grill, bar that looks to Hood Canal, table, chairs, and hot tub.

The ‘lower level’ (basement) is dorm style accommodations. There are four cubicles that have full beds and a trundle bed. Very nice for 5 but can sleep more. TV, DVD player, DVDs, mini refrigerator, microwave, plates, glasses, cups and coffee maker are included.
Two bathrooms in the lower level.

Included for all are the washer and dryer. Always nice to have dry thermals to dive with.

All bedding, pillows, and towels are included.

Other ‘amenities’ include Wi-Fi, coffee, hot chocolate and an assortment of tea.

Very large parking area is provided.

Within 3-4 blocks are restaurants, grocery store, gas station, various small shops and YSS Dive Shop for dive gear/rental needs and tank fills.

$135 each for the weekend of diving, making new friends, social time, foods and swapping of tales.
