Wednesday is the 12th, but yes... I am!

I'm going to be doing a checkout dive with a new-ish diver and another diver whose had limited experience in cold water. We're planning on meeting at Cove 2 at 6:30. Hope to see you and others there! :supz:

Diving. . . is an active physical form of meditation. It is so silent- You're like a thought.

We are instructed by PADI to consider diving in a pool.... diving, for the benefit of our starry-eyed open water students :hello2:

Instruction Manual For Missing The Best Dive Ever!!!! (@ Alki)

1. Suggest a dive and invite your friends. :supz:
2. Show up and do the first dive. =D>
3. Punk out on the second dive, citing a headache as the reason (this step can also be used to avoid having sex with your spouse). :pale:
4. Go home. :crybaby:
5. Your friends go diving without you and find a bright purplish/blue 15' Giant Pacific Octopus, on it's deathbed, in 35+ foot vis. Your friends spend about 15 minutes with the dying octo, providing it comfort before it leaves this world and moves onto bluer waters. Not only do they find the octo as it's taking it's last breath, but they actually see it die, right in front of them, then curl up and tilt over as sunflower stars start eating its tentacles. #-o
