Someone needs an SL6 returned??

Post by Sergeant Pepper »

BASSMAN, How are you feeling? I've been meaning to call and check up on you. Hope everything is well after your accident. As much as I would like to have an SL6 myself, I'm sure you want this one back sooner than later. Let me know when you are available to dive. Let's make it next week sometime as I will be out of town this weekend. Anyone else is welcome to join... the more the merrier! :partyman:

I'm 100% okay!, My Truck is not, it's in the Body Shop. I should get it back on Friday or early next week.
I would like to Dive Friday or Saturday 21st or 22nd. Let me know what would work for you.
If we can catch Slack Tide we can dive Titlow Park.
If you would rather not have to journy all the way down here we could try for Three Tree N.

let me know.

Either one is good for me. Let me know where we are going too. We don't have to do 3 tree. It is just kind of between us.

Bassman,
Not sure if I can make this dive.
I would love to go but am in the mist of some work scheduling conflicts.
By the looks of things, I think you are going to want to actually hit the water at 5:45pm since "true" slack is at 6:17PM and the corrections in the PNW Shore Dive book..-30mins on EBB
http://www.dairiki.org/tides/monthly.php/nar/2006-07-01
I could be wrong...but I would be shooting for about 5:30 hit the water, run through slack at 5:45...exit the water about 6:10ish or so...remembering the ebbing current flows Southward...that should take you at about .71knts/.51knts to about .64knts at 6:30pm with corrections...an easy current dive for a new diver...
Another thought is the viz might not be that great on an ebbing tide and with the hot weather we are having right now.
If you are working with new divers I would opt to take them to a non-current site and on an incoming tide for the best viz.
Just my 02PSI...call me if you wish.
