Yea the dive went good caught the current just right. max depth about 80ft saw 2 octopuss lots of rock fish and ling cod.. even saw a cluster of squid eggs.. I think it was worth it even after the (death march) :evil4: . it seemed like about quarter mile hike... at least now i know that kvi tower is doable from the shore...

Hey Sparky,
We arrived at the dive spot with crystal clear skies and a bite in the air and we all strolled down the long but easy trail that leads to KVI tower. We got to the end and could just make out under the shallow water the sand spit we were to walk out on to start our dive. After a few phone calls and random discussions among ourselves we had a vague idea of where the actual site was and decided to go for it. I dove my doubles and recorded a 48 minute dive with a water temp of 48 and a max depth of 85'. The site was really cool with all kinds of dens and life. I didn't have my primary light so my usual hobby of looking under every rock and in every cranny I can was put on hold this dive for me but all in all it was a nice dive. We did not do a second dive due to the current but IO hope everyone enjoyed it none the less....you coming this weekend????
