What's everyone's dive plan for the long weekend coming up?

I was originally planning to take my trimix course, but Don's working that weekend. So now I'm curious about everyone's plan for that weekend. Anyone needs a dive buddy? :p

Wish I was going to Puget Sound for some diving, but I'm heading further inland for a family reunion (which will be nice in it's own right). There is a covert dive plan in place though that should go relatively unnoticed by the wives and grandmas. I'll be staying in a cabin just a few miles West of Yellowstone park so on Saturday morning around 5:00am my brother and I are sneaking off to dive the geyser-fed Firehole River inside the park. At almost 9,000 ASL this will be my second-highest altitude dive to date. Hey, it beats sitting around playing board games.

Hey there are bennies to that. Means you can dive duing the week when there aren't so many muck divers out there!

If you're talking about the weekend of the 30th, Sheri, Spatman, Penopolypants, scubagirl45, myself, and whoever else we can roust up are going somewhere South Sound (probably) on that Saturday.

The idea started here.

I think so...

Not sure how Clear Lake will play out for me. I'm nearly positive I'm going to have to work one day that weekend...

I'll be returning from Port Hardy that week-end ... and on Monday (Labor Day) will be participating in a 4.2 mile run in Woodinville (no diving that day).

Looks like August will be a 50-dive month for me ... I'm gonna need a coupla deco days that week-end ...

My sister in law in Bend just gave birth about an hour ago. And since we are in Idaho kayaking this weekend, we are heading to Bend the holiday weekend to see the little bobble head. And that just happens to be conveniently close to Clear Lake. $\:D/$ Well, about 1.5 hours away, that is close in my book. I am up to 70% certain I can go. Husband will be golfing, I will be diving. Sweet!

Any chance there is a Saturday afternoon/evening dive plan? I would be 95% certain to make that one....

I plan on being there Saturday... if I can get a cabin and if I get my daughter earlier enough(she's on vacation for a couple of weeks with grandma and grandpa!)

Diving Oregon and California that weekend..... and maybe that whole week if I can find someone crazy enough to dive with me... Bringing scuba gear and the dive kayaks!!!!

MAYBE..... Barview Jetty on August 28th.... Camping at Port Orford the night of the 28th and maybe kayaking Port Orford on the 29th. The 30th, diving in Fort Bragg California.... From there could be diving in Monterey California(depends if anyone wants to head that far south). If not heading to Brookings Oregon for some shore diving...

So.... I'll buy the soda pop and bring a bunch of tanks!!!!

Don't know, no plans yet. But the clear lake is in my list for sure if I can find it
