DUI DOG @ Owens Beach this weekend

Is anyone going to this? Has anyone been and can recommend for/against attending? I'd like to go try out some dry suits, just don't know if this is a good venue or not.

I understand it will be at Les Davis this time instead of owens beach. This is a much smaller venue so expect problems with parking, access and such. It's an OK event if you are interested in doing DUI for your drysuit. They will have lots of gear there to try and people to help set you up. Expect lots of people and lots of waiting to get help but it is a good source of info.

I will be there leading dives for poeple. Get there before 11am and you can get a free lunch. It's a great way to try a dry suit and even narrow down a specific DUI suit. The one I demoed last year fit so good I bought it.

I've helped out many times in the past (this year I'm working, unfortunately) and it's always a blast. Where else can you try gear, get lunch and hang with divers for a nominal entry fee? Good times!

Did anyone go to the DOG Rally at the Oregon Coast Aquarium a couple of weeks ago? I wanted to help out as a volunteer, but I was privileged to go to my son's Master's graduation that weekend.

If anyone went, I'd really like a report.

I totally agree with Zen Diver that this event is always fun. Test dives start at 9 am...the DUI website link to Rally Days has the info on what to bring with you to try out suits. I will be there helping out on Saturday. Come and try a DUI!

And Bob....no...they probably would not appreciate the Fusion...but you could still come and say hi!

If you want to try the Fusion, there is a demo day this Sunday at Les Davis, 9am-4pm, Saturday in Bellingham and Tuesday in Salem.
