Friday - night drive to Seattle.

Saturday - do three dives at Redondo or TTN (never been to eather but the Redondo map looks self explanatory)

Sunday – two dives in or north of Seattle area then drive home.

It figures the weekend I pick to drive north and dive Grateful Diver comes south to give what looks like an interesting seminar.

I'd recommend Redondo over TTN for Saturday, for a bunch of reasons ...
-3 dives means you'll be there a while ... Redondo has bathrooms
- tides are reasonably large this week-end ... and while Redondo can have unpredictable currents at times, you're guaranteed to have a pretty good flow going at TTN
- parking
- TTN's been "hit-or-miss" for me lately ... Redondo's been consistently good.

As a point of interest ... the recent floods have changed the landscape down to about 40 feet ... and all the "guide ropes" above that, at least on the south side below the aquarium, got buried. So don't bother looking for them ... they're underground right now (unless somebody's gone down there and "rescued" them).

Thanks Bob,

We only have two tanks apiece so we are planning two day dives, go eat and fill tanks, then back for a night dive. One of our divers is new so we are not planning to do anything extreme. We just want to keep him close keep an eye on him and get him some more water time. Salty's is out of the question but is there any recommended eats at Redondo and were is the closest air fills?

Thanks,
Jeff

My wife and I have an evening dive planned tonight at Redondo and then on Friday it's time for, um, er, MONSTER TRUCKS! :supz: Hopefully we will do a 2 tank dive somewhere on Saturday. Should be a fun weekend.
Life is good, let's dive!!

Closest air fills ... either north up 99 to TLSea or south along 99 to UWS Federal Way. I'd do the latter ... there's places to eat along the way. My personal fav is a Chinese Buffet place called Grand Buffet on the north side of 320th St.

Friday: Go ogle and admire my new Dry Suit. Curse the fact that I'm waiting on bottles and regs to be shipped from Canada.
Saturday: Dive in to drinks to celebrate the birthday of one of my best friends.
Sunday: Recover.... Go ogle and admire my new dry suit. Curse the fact that I'm waiting on bottles and regs to be shipped from Canada.

Don't know yet.

We just had a fishing boat sink in ~100' If the weather holds maybe we'll take my boat out there and salvage DEC's oil boom that went down with the boat. I'm sure they would like to have it back.

Otherwise, I don't know.

*I* don't have to work... seems like most people have to though or have other not so fun obligations. This is shaping up to be a rather lame holiday!
