I will Definitely be there. Looking foreward to meeting some more Divers, I only know one or two, and none of them ever really have time cause we are on different schedules. Anything specific I should bring? other than my Dive gear?

Divers have to be safe when they go under the water. Divers can't go down alone, so they have to go down on each other. (Becky, age 8)

Either all-natural cheetos, or lumpia if for some reason you happen to know how to make it. I'm leaning toward a bag of all-natural cheetos though - we never have enough.

Show up, BS, dive, BS, Eat, BS, dive... how many depends on how many tanks you bring I would imagine.... :thumb3d:

Is anyone bringing along any non-divers? My 22 year old (non-diving) daughter just moved here (yesterday, actually) from out of state, and she is interested in coming along. Thought I'd check to see if there would be any other "shore support only" folks hanging around during the dives.

My wife and son will be there with me for at least one dive. (weather dependent). I believe Baby and Mrs. Sounder will also be there.

I've never been to the park. Is there any sort of play area that is kid-friendly? I would like to bring my wife and kids.

The question is, how many kids are you going to be bringing?

Yes, Mrs. and Baby Sounder will be there pending good-enough weather. I believe Mrs. vbcoachchris and Hayley may come too.

I think I'm gonna make this. I have a AOW night dive on Friday at EUP and I'll see about keeping my rental gear for the next day. I'll be easy to spot unless there are a lot of others diving wet.

I'm sure there will be a few people diving wet. If you want to do a second dive, you might bring a thermos of hot water to warm your suit with. Hope you make it - it'll be a great day.

I think it's time for a roll-call of who is coming and what they're bringing so we can get a ballpark number of people and fill in any food-gaps.

Sounder (diving), Mrs. Sounder (not diving) and Baby Sounder (not diving, but will eat sand) will be there mid-morning to late-morning.

We're open and will bring something that hasn't been covered... and a bag of chips to be sure we don't run out. :thumb3d:

April has convinced me to go. Mrs. Defied may show as well as a few other friends who aren't members (yet).
I will attempt to make a pan or two of Tater Tot Casserole happen, but no guarantees!!

Unfortunately the smoked pulled pork is out, because my dog ate my smoker (fer reelz), and I haven't fixed the vents yet. We'll save that for another occasion.

Oh, and dig in a bin for a 2XLT or a 3XL club shirt for a brother, wouldja?

I'll likely sway back and forth if I get there early. Too sleepy.

By the way! Being the compulsive person that I am, I am eagerly trying to figure out the best time to show up, based on tides, currents, and my astrological chart. However, being a slacker and nincompoop, I must admit to not QUITE understanding the tides, currents, or my astrological chart (something about someone rising with Venus, which sounds naughty, really).

Would someone please post the "Best Time to Splash for Dummies"? I will then arrive (also wet, but HOPEFULLY not mistaken as Revstr).

Matt will be taking my new drysuit out for a test run - since I haven't taken a class yet and don't know how.

Oh! HEY! Did I mention I bought a dry suit?!! :boucegreen:
