Oh.My.God. Really? That would make me so happy!

Hard to see how that will really look for me, but any improvements on how I can kill time via my BB is appreciated. :tomnic:

Thanks Spatman for your hard work... and reminding me that I hate everything new because I'm terrified of change.

AAAAIIIIEEEEE!!!!

J/k. Looks neat. Kinda weird having the avatars on the right, instead of left, but I'm sure it'll seem normal in a few days. Thanks for kicking internet a$$. :boxer:

Site Update

Post by Tangfish » Thu May 13, 2010 9:28 pm

Just an FYI to all you NWDCers.... Spatman will be rolling out a sitewide update sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. We don't expect there to be an associated outage, but you may notice some strangeness during the update. IF you happen to be writing a thesis sized post between now and the update, please copy it before you hit "submit", just in case it gets cannibalized by the tubes of teh interwebs during the update. Again, we don't foresee any glitches - but then again, it's Matt and me that we're talking about here.

Now, once the update is done, you all will notice some real snazzy new features, and some fixes of bugs from the last update. A new snazzy feature is the "quick reply" feature, which will allow you to reply to a thread without reloading a new page. Ain't technology wonderful? An example of a fix that's coming out is that when you hit 'reply' to a PM, you'll now be able to reply to a group of people rather than just the sender - yay!

Let's all give Spatman a big :grouphug: for the fact that he spends an inordinate amount of time helping to maintain this forum so that we can all threadjack each other to our hearts' content!
