Well, NWDC doesn't have chat presently but what would it take to put a chat function on here? I think it'd be a great way to get to know people I've never met even better and I could pass the time in class chatting with friends.

I'm completely ignorant regarding this sort of thing, but other sites like UTD and Dive Matrix have it.

I think the default on this project is to Spatman and Calvin. I don't speak jabber or Java the Hut and know nothing about this. I appreciate the offer - sounds smart to me, but they're the two that know what it going on with the code on this site. Spatty? Tangfish?

Doug, I hacked NWDC just the other day and installed a chat room. It's HERE. Since I don't have actual root access I'm unable to fix the latency problem but it works if you are patient. Just refresh every minute or so and you're golden.
