External link issues

Post by loanwolf »

I have a favor to ask.

This absolutely drives me nuts about this site. That the external links do not open in another window or tab. I hate it you have to either right click or navigate back to where you where. Can you change it so it works like most other boards?

Sorry it just drives my anal ass crazy.

I just hold down command when I click the link and it opens in a new tab. If I don't want to open in a new tab I prefer re-using the same window. To each his own, I suppose.

Or, if you're using an older IE version, shift + click opens a new window.

I middle-click any link I want in a separate tab regardless of the site. I don't want to rely on the site author to try and guess what I want to do.

I tend to blame Spat for everything tho... it's more fun that way. I've been meaning to talk to him about this ingrown toenail. Bastard!
