California rebreather divers death, still a mystery

Though the Monterey County coroner determined that the cause of death was drowning, the inquiry into the Oct. 7 incident is ongoing, as investigators consult with experts to determine whether a problem with Crawford's specialized diving equipment contributed to the accident.

Sad. I read an account of this on Scuba board by someone who was on that boat. I feel bad for his family. The article is suprisingly well written- they were carefull about checking facts.
