How addicted are you to NWDC ?

Post by H20doctor »

I was wondering how addicted you are ..? do you check the board on your smart phone ? do you sneek a peek at work ? do you wake up in the middle of the night and log on while eating a late night snack ? How addicted have you become ...

also please come up with an addicted level you feel you are ...

I rank in the above 10 times a day < heavily addicted > to get my fix

Depends on what else I've got going on that day. If it's something really important, like ... oh, I dunno ... washing my hair ... I might not have time to check in all that much ...

I live in the mountains a solid 9 hours from the nearest dive site. I haven't been diving in a year and a half. I spend most of my time cleaning up toys, wiping up drool, or using the googles to find out how to get an infant to sleep through the night. Yet, I can tell you what dives people are doing, who is taking the best photos, and when the next club dive is. Sad, but true.

Hmmm... I'm a moderator, and my gear is dry.

Is there a category for "as little as possible"? :)

Like another poster I live a long and expensive way from sea water. But I do have other interests, as blasphemous as that may be. Result is I like to check often, often will leave it open in one window while I do somethng productive in another. I even get some good info from other posters.

What with tapatalk on my phone, multiple monitors at work, and a job that has many "waiting" moments I pretty much have constant NWDC observation

Too funny--made me literally LOL. :angelblue:

I don't think I'm addicted, but DBrown would probably disagree . . .

Although I am more of a lurker lately, it is set as my homepage and set to automatically sign in so I guess I would have to say addicted. :calvin:

That's a great rationalization. I may use it for this and other addictions, my friend!
