Redondo beach boat launch ??
Has any one noticed if the docks are out and usable at the boat launch???? Going up to dive KVI and Maury Island barges so would like to launch from there unless someone has a better launch when coming from the South..

Point Defiance kicks Redondo's butt.

well then point defiance ramp it is lol, not having a dock like up at Redondo would bring the suck
Re: Redondo beach boat launch ??
It's pricey ($11 iirc) but the docks are great for loading/unloading and the parking is always easy.

But it's allot more than 15 min. longer run to KVI! from Point Defiance and you'll burn up allot more than that waiting in line.ORDiver wrote:Hmmm. It's 15 min. closer to Oregon too.CaptnJack wrote:Point Defiance kicks Redondo's butt.

there are 4 ramps at Point Defiance. I have never had to wait, but maybe at a peak fishing time you might??Dusty2 wrote:But it's allot more than 15 min. longer run to KVI! from Point Defiance and you'll burn up allot more than that waiting in line.ORDiver wrote:Hmmm. Its not a whole lot longer run and the nicer ramp and docks is worth it. I did not mind having to hold the inflatable by hand without having a dock but no go with new boat. There is a total of 8 ramps (6 usuable) and I only saw one other boat while launching and loading.
Re: Redondo beach boat launch ??
Looked like there was a log washed up on Redondo ramp a day or 2 ago anyhow.

What's happening with your SR4? (I think you had an SR4 inflatable right?) Selling her?

Much warmer and and a whole lot more room, four can get kited up and not be in each others way too much. ORDIVER Dave is buying the SR5.4, so I guess you caould say its staying in the nwdiveclub family. Plus I get to dive out of it at times still
