We lost one of the family today

Post by gutholmj »

We lost one of the family today. After 13 years our fish, affectionally called Mr. Fish died. We will never again hear him splashing promptly at 6pm for his evening meal. I figured this might be a group that can appreciate the loss.

Bummer, we have a few big Koi in our pond that let us pet them. If we lost them, it'd be heart wrenching.

Best thoughts and wishes.

13 years? Wow. I know he was "just" a fish, but after 13 years something like that becomes part of your life. Condolences, I'm sure you gave him a good life.

Isn't this the one that you brought back from Fiji (in the zip loc bag so customs wouldn't find it)?
