Thanks, everyone!!!!

Northwest divers are GREAT!

We're leaving the house for the hospital now - check-in time is 5:45 AM, and I'm first in line!

I'm pretty loopy, (a good thing for a rebreather diver!), but they tell me that the surgery went well! Believe it or not, PT was just here and I took my first couple of steps!

Of the four or so friends and family members who had the surgery, they all say it was one of their best decisions.

I'm sure you'll back to diving, basketball and everything else before you know.

All the best wishes from here... :joshsmith: :queenliz: :supz: :partydance:

:tomnic: They don't cut you any slack these days. They Doc told me the sooner they get you movin the less time it takes to heal! With hips and knees the joint is ready to use by the time they get you sewed back up! Amazing glue they use! :smt064

I am thrilled to hear this! And I can't believe P.T. started so soon.

Hugs for a speedy return to your favorite things - with no pain! :joshsmith:

I'm so glad to hear it went well John. Here's to wishing you a speedy recovery and getting back in the water soon.

GREAT!

With my spine surgery I was out of bed and walking with assistance a few hours after surgery. Lots of other hip, knee types also treking their way to the toilet and the next day up and down the hall.

Keep at it and you WILL overcome.
