I'll play- this is my brother and his girlfriend rappelling off a dock in Coos Bay, Oregon (with our dive boat in the background):
Re: Beat this.....
Today, winter rescue class. 36*F water, ~16" ice ~14' deep 6-8' vis.
Me on the right side in blue:
So my first time diving in really cold water. Did a simple enter water, go to depth, look around, rise, look at under side ice sheet, surface. Only lasted a couple of minutes but was quite the experience.

It was a Lake Conconully and put on by Okanogan County SAR. There were folks from at least 3 counties and several agencies.
Of course it says "Fire Line Do Not Cross". As I said in my original post I did it for a class. We did not cross the line, we were inside it

Re: Beat this.....
I don't tihnk this is better than the other photo's, but it's a bit different:
A few weeks ago I helped Diver_Dave raise a boat in Sealing cove. I did the dive with my PRAM. Even ran a pneumo line off the Pheonix and it worked like a champ.
Oh, and we were successful. Ice made towing a B***h though....
