Ouch! Sorry to hear about your ear! (pun intended)
Hope you heal quick but don't try to get back in the water too soon.
Just thinking about that kind of pain is hard to imagine. I'm sure it is not fun!
:bored:

Hang in there buddy!

Sorry to hear that Bob. I hope you are pain free soon and the healing goes better than expected.

Grounded ...

Yea I have been here, keeping dry for longer then suggested is what I did. I have little problems now and I just take my decent slow every time just to be extra cautious and not re-damage it. Hope you have a speedy recovery! Then we need to dive! been a while since I seen ya!

Get better Bob ya HEAR!?! I hate the though of you doing 10+ dives a day to make up for lost time in a couple months. There's just not enough time in the day for that kind of schedule......or is there?

One can only try, Pez ... but doing many dives a day for many days in a row is how I got to this point in the first place. Fortunately, it was in a warm, tropical location diving with manta rays, reef sharks and other cool critters ... so it was worth it ...

Bob: I can't tell you anything about diving, you already know it all. I can tell you about recovery. Patience! My son, when told that said, "Forget patience. I tried that four five minutes once and it didn't work." There are worse things than being beached for a month. Re-injuring yourself and being beached for six months is one of them.
Good Luck, Curt :rawlings:

Well the good news is that I saw the ENT doc for a follow-up yesterday and he said he was happy with how my ear infection's healing. Said he didn't see any reason I couldn't go diving.

Bad news is that I came off the Prednisone on Monday, felt a cold coming on yesterday, and am down hard today ... might be a few more days yet before I get wet.

... and me with a new camera and housing to try out ... this sux ...

Glad to hear the ear is improving, Bob. I was just thinking earlier today of dropping you a line to see how you're doing. Hope you get back in the water soon.

Canon T2i w/60mm EF-S lens
Sea & Sea housing

Still gotta spend some time getting familiar with the controls ... and get it on the insurance policy ... before it goes underwater.

You ought to take it "diving" at a marine center, then at least you could use it!
