Parked here watching 3 commercial geoduck boats hard at it at Redondo. Must be that time.
Pop tarts and gravy,

I see them all the time while diving at various sites in the sound. Are they that good to eat? My mind says that a clam that big would have to be chewier than octopus. :dontknow:

if you are ever in Shelton go to Xinh's clam and oyster house and order the Geoduck bellies or Geoduck Ceviche. Amazing. Not chewy in the slightest. I had no idea until recently that they were even halfway edible :) (had assumed the same)

WA F&W shares a great video that helped me understand the animal. Not sure I could stomach it raw, but the clam strips sound goooood!
