gray whales near Everett

Post by oldsalt »

A gray whale is spouting out in front of Jetty Island right now. Unlike the whale I reported in November, this is expected. We typically have a half dozen or so show up about this time and leave in the early summer. You can expect to see them near Everett, Mukilteo, Langley, Saratoga Passage, or the Port Susan area. They have been given names by the local whale-watchers such as "Patch" and "Little Patch".
