Northwest Dive Club

Now that my shoulder is healing nicely I went and tore my ACL skiing last weekend.

Hooray for more surgery and down time. Yay. And yes, surgery isn't the only option, but it is the best option for me.

It might be a while before there's another club dive/bbq, unfortunately. Which is a great reminder to everyone that they do not have to be organized by me, anyone can do it! Alls we ask is that you try to make it accessible to as many as possible, and check to see if one of your friendly neighborhood Mods (myself, Norris, Gdog, Tangfish) can make it. Not for any sort of nefarious purposes, we just like to jump out from behind the keyboard from time to time.

Safe diving everyone, and I am looking forward to all of your reports and photos to fuel my virtual dives in the mean time!

I feel your pain. I've been out for 6 weeks (this time) and just found out I have to stay out another 6 weeks. Sucks!

I hope your recovery goes well. My experience compels me to follow the directions of the docs and PT's. I suspect it will work for you too.

Thanks everyone. A buddy of mine said it took him about three months post surgery to get back in the water. I am hoping it will be less than that.
