Good news indeed, I hope you heal fast, after six weeks, the underwater visibility will be better anyway :)

Sorry to hear this but glad you are ok. I have 10 more days to go before my 6 weeks non-weight-bearing is up. Can't wait to get back in the water. I'll be thinking about you.

I am glad that you are healing and all is going well.
It has been a very long time since I have got to dive with you.
Lets dive soon when you are healed.

Heal up and with the peace of mind it'll go by quickly.

WylerBear, take it real easy when you get back to diving and other normal activities, it's amazing how quickly a leg can atrophy when non-weight bearing!

Bob: I am grateful that you don't have cancer. I know from experience that this time will pass and it will just be a memory. You are in my prayers. Curt

Really happy no cancer. ☺

Just curious, and a bit nosy. Removed the entire pancreas, or just a portion?

Any ongoing medication, or lifestyle changes?

They removed a about 4 inches pancreas (bad) and stayed some good portion in my body. None any medication now. My heal still slow. I feel and miss a diving :) Also, My weight loss about 12 lbs. after operation. I ate little slow because no drink or food at the hospital for almost five days (used liquid diet/feed). I am happy at home than hospital :)

Sounds like you are healing well! It's good that they were able to save part of your pancreas. Fingers crossed that you can get well and back in the water soon!

Very sorry to hear of this Bob, but glad you're on the mend. That's major surgery, so don't be in a hurry and take your time.

Thinking of you my friend...
