Northwest Dive Club

The challenge :

One video set to a song of no longer than 5 minutes

The video is promoting the group, the fun, and the diving.

The music video should certainly have underwater critter pics and video but we should really focus on the "people" below and above the water.

I think a 90 day limit should be set and the voting will be done by NWDC polling and be open for 48 hours.

If TH TH TH accepts this challenge we would like to offer that 2nd place pays for food and beer (within reason) for the winning team on a dive night of the winners choice.

Mind you this is not a photog contest but more of who can make a FUN video promoting not only PNW diving but the group themselves.

Indeed we are. However I MAY ask for an extension as Winter diving is coming and we stand to get a lot more footage. Can I ask who is your go-to person for the TH TH TH side?

Our go to person is Mr. Stephen Martin. If you don't already know, he is a badass.

I was not part of those negotiations. If I was you would be one of our lead videographers. I can add top-shelf tequila to the mix just say the word.

I've been trying to bribe him so we could have a compilation of the wadda doc and Stephen videos. Cuz they would be EPIC together. Both are top shelf videographers. Evidently tacos didn't float his boat.

Ok so setting new date for completed video. We are only about halfway through completion and are still gathering footage. Now mind you this should be a fun video more focusing on people and fun rather than awesome critter footage. Truth be told TH TH TH group has a lot of very talented photographers and videographers so to challenge you to THAT type of contest would be a nightmare.

January 1st 2017 is the new date. It also doesn't even have to be a "contest" but more a reason for us to all put something together, and then meet up for a dive. However if you all want to stick to the contest portion the WINNING team meets up with the NOT WINNING team for a dive, and the NON WINNING team buys one drink for the opposing sides diver of your choice?

Just saw this thread for the first time. I was unaware I was the go to person for the ThThTh side of this project! And, as you can imagine, when not being aware of something, very little work gets done. Haha.

I wonder if a mid Jan or Feb 1 date could be accommodated? I think the holidays will be a loss time wise and I'm starting from scratch.
