RIP

Erik was a great person. He will surely be missed, especially with the CCR dive community. RiP.

i just got the news this morning , and we have lost another great diver , Erik was in great Hands on this dive trip and if anything could have been done , it would have ... Mel Clark was there ... Erik was a Great guy , well skilled at diving and technical RB diving ... He researched Many of the local wrecks and ships here in our waters with Chris Borgen ... Both of them have done a TON of work documenting wrecks ..
Its very sad News today , And My prayers go out to his wife , friends and Family ... Rest in Peace Erik , you will be missed Immensely

I was on a Lake Superior trip with Erik a few years back. Great guy ... he very much loved diving the wrecks. He always came up well after the rest of us, and on the way back to shore he'd recount his dive. His enthusiasm was infectious, and because of his penchant for researching the wrecks before he dived them it was like listening to him talk about a visit with an old friend.

He was way too young, and with way too much life left to live, to be talking about him in the past tense.

Met him twice. Seemed like a very nice guy.

I also met him twice and he seemed like a real nice fellow, he was going to show me some lake Washington dive sites after my mod 1 class.

Ouch... I met and dove with Erik when was helping out Mel as a DM way back when I took my CCR trimix (10+ years ago now.) Great guy...sad loss...
