New AED at Cove 2!!!

Post by aadolfi »

I am super happy to announce that, once again, there is an AED installed at Cove 2!!! The unit is installed inside the Ma Kai - Marination restaurant next to the indoor restroom. A huge thanks to the folks from Marination for allowing us to install this life saving device and to all of the members of GUE Seattle, whos' annual contributions enabled us to supply this AED at one of the most popular dive sites in Washington for the enhanced safety of all members of the dive community!!!

The purpose of life should not be to journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Holy S#it!!!" What a Ride!!!

That's a good unit. I was trained to use one while I was still working at Phillips. Proper use of a defibrillator will give a victim the best chance of survival. The Phillips Heartstart is one of the easier ones to use properly.
