Hood Canal Question

Post by Scubie Doo »

Hello y’all. I am curious how the diving is from the Glen Ayr RV dock? Has anyone dove there, is there anything good to see?

Several others have posted before but couple points:
Not so many oysters clusters to step on if you enter parallel near to the pier on the north side.
Slope drops off fast
Few 'clumps' of marine life
Word is best marine life and small wall starts around 100 fsw down to 200 fsw.
Six gills have been seen at depth.

Glen Ayr is awesome, but the wall goes well beyond rec limits

- I got a good squirt in my mouth
- I would imagine that there would be a large amount of involuntary gagging
- I don't know about you but I'm not into swallowing it
