What's up with Snow in April?

It's insane. The yard looks like February. Worse, I CANCELED a dive last night because of it -- I hate driving in Seattle in the snow.

Well, it was a real spring day at Cove 2. Cloudy, then spattering rain, then blue sky, and then I drove home and got hailed on while unloading the car.

Mexico just can't come too soon.

Doesn't matter. Today you all dove Puget Sound and I dove the Columbia River. You win, snow or no snow.

I agree with ben though...I havn't been able to dive in a while. BUT!!! I did find an alluminum tank washed ashore this week.. I doubt it's any good, but enough of jake rubbed off on me to keep it and verify it's still in hydro. I just need to clean the algae and barnacles off and get a new vip (if it'll pass).

Dude, I'm not even sure I would try to get it hydro'd. I would have kept it though, if nothing else for "yard art"!

Got flurries Friday evening while gearing up for my dive with Brian and Jeanna.

Saturday I was out on the lake with Scott, Ben and Shaun diving the YMS-359. After the dive, Shaun told us it was snowing while we were down. Then we got a real dump while we were unloading the boat.

Sunday I just decided to go with the flow and went snowshoeing at Mt. Baker. It was snowing (sometimes hard) on the mountain ... we got maybe 3 to 4 inches while we were our walking around.

I decided (stupidly) to drive to Vancouver this past weekend in my rear wheel drive car. At mt. vernon there was 4 inches of slush right on the freeway. I came pretty close to eating it, but the rest of the way there and back was fine.

I'm so bummed. We barely got any snow at my place.
