Stuck on Stickers

Hey all, I just got word back from the printer that they aren't willing to do a run of less than 1000 stickers @ around $550. I think this is a bit steep since I'll pretty much just be buying them and handing them out. I'm thinking we need closer to 250 - 300 of them. Sasquatch went to the trouble of tracking down an option for us (thank you), but as a last consideration I'd like to try giving a call to the guys who specialize in stickers for saltwater purposes.

There was an ad for a sticker printer in a previous Northwest Dive News issue, but I can't find that one anymore and the only one I have at the moment doesn't have that ad in it. Does anyone have a copy or two of the magazine they can flip through to get the info to me?

Thanks,

Calvin

You don't have to use a special sticker. Way back in the olden days when we had a dive shop, we just ordered vinyl stickers that had waterproof adhesive on paper backing from the local advertising specialties guy. As I remember, we paid somewhere around $.50 for bumper sticker size and $.33 for 6x6 and our minimum was 100.

Hmmmm.... they look like they do patches, not stickers. But, I emailed them and asked them if they do stickers or know someone who does. Thanks for the help 'Quatch!

How about these guys:

http://www.koolprint.com

Quantities and prices look pretty good. If we did the 2-up bumper stickers in vinyl each sticker would be 5x3".

yeah; the only one i found was for custom graphics, but it didn't say anything about stickers.

i also bookmarked this site fairly recently: http://www.decaljunky.com/ - i don't remember how i came across it, and i haven't looked at their site or talked to them, but i thought it looked like it might be useful in the future. (no minimum order required!)
