about 1.5 years ago. the club just got so big that people aren't as social. Its been kind of like High school lots of small clicks. well i had such a blast at the dive this past saturday that i am going to work with P-pant to get more of these going. Sounder and I used to plan multi day camping trips. those were fun.

the first club dive was three years ago and i planned it up to my (cuppie's actually) Cabin in hood canal. about 30 people were there and it was great. now the club is so bigg people kind of do their own thing. It's hard to find a place to host a grou like we have but we will make it happen.

we need a lot of parking and a non current sensitive dive site. I like sund rock, but the parking sucks. any ideas where to hold the next Club Shirt dive? I will start a new thread :bounce:

I hate to say it, but there are only a few locations that I can think of off the top of my head that offer parking and other activities..........

1) Les Davis parking and facilities
2) Edmonds park BHUT..............of love (I don't know why that pops into my head whenever I say it :dontknow: )
3) Mukilteo Clay walls (The site itself will only support a few divers at one time though) so you would want a very flat, long exchange.

Oh oh oh! and

4)KEYSTONE!!! Lot's of parking and all the amenities of some of the others!

One green and one maroon ( i can't make a decision), both xl. Melissa wants the same, both L or even better the girl shirts which I would not dare try to understand the sizes due to my gender handicap.

You are a "pole" recovery expert. :evil4:
This is either referring to the fishing-pole/reel guy :dontknow: , or I totally missed it. #-o

I'm guessing I missed it.
Yeah, I was referring to the fishing "pole" you recovered. The misspelling of the word reminded me of that.

Aaah. Yeah, that was interesting... go in looking for a reel ON a pole, and only find the pole. Fortunately the news coverage guilted someone into returning the reel. However it needed to happen, I'm just glad our efforts brought enough attention to the story to get the reel back.

For anyone who hasn't heard the story, the thread about it complete with the YouTube news-story links, is here: http://www.nwdiveclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4066

There are a LOT bigger horns to toot on that project than mine... that's why I put the link up for new folks who might not have known the story. The City of Seattle, the dive community, the team that mustered following a single email, the media, and the Seattle Police Harbor Patrol... I just made a few phone calls and sent the email.
