Didnt see an area for this

Post by Norris »

Does anyone else have any issues with logging in at times? It seems that directly after I log in I will get the "successful login" screen, then the page will refresh and I am asked to log in again. Cleared cookies, temp files and it is still doing it. I will try later today with another browser to see if it is IE related.

Hmmm. I still use IE all the time, and I've never had that problem. Anyone else?

I use Firefox and have things set up to log me in automatically and take me to the "new posts" screen and haven't had any problems.

At times, no matter what I'm using, I have had trouble logging in. I get the "unavailable" message. It is usually better an hour later or so.

Pretty sure that's the same for everyone- different from the OPs problem.

I can never log in at night on IE 7 and only 50% of the time during the day. This just started happening about 6 months ago, by the way. I started using Firefox (which I can't stand) and when I can actually get on line with it, I have no problems on this site. ](*,)

we played with it at work. seems ok but basically just another browser. similar in performance to firefox 3. it's still in beta, so it'll be interesting to see how it evolves.

Seems faster the FF and IE7. It's a little weird, no home page, and I end up missing all the add-ons from firefox. But it is faster than FF & IE.

IE is internet explorer. there are several versions in use these days and each has their own quirks.

The other day, when I was downloading pics, it would just blank me out, I'd get the page not found screen, and I'd have to log back on, and start all over again. Damn near had me homicidal. Stupid computers.
