In need of a good spear gun!

My little brother got recently certified in northern CA and has been becoming more active. He has show an interest in spear fishing and gave him my old hula spear, but of course he wants something better. Does anyone have a good used spear sitting around they are willing to part with? I figured I would try asking some people before I tried buying bran new. Thank you.

Are you still looking for a gun? I happen to have a Riffe Standard Bottom that I'm looking to sell. Brand new, still in shipping material. 43" model. MSRP $573, I'd like to get $450 for it.
