Items Wanted :)

Post by rjarnold »

I'm looking for 32lbs of soft weights (or more) and an aluminum 80 tank (or 2).

If anyone has a really nice drysuit for a really good price that will fit a 5'7 140lb guy I would be tempted as well :)

I have soft "sea pearl" weights for sale, cheap. I'll see what denominations they're in.

Yep - they're for an integrated system. Oh, more than 32lbs would be for my husband and me =D

I have 2 HP80s (a way better tank!)... if you're interested.

Drop about 9 lbs total weight compared to an AL80. O2 clean for nitrox if you are doing that, or just use air. Convertable DIN/yoke valves.

Here are some specs on steel HP80s vs. AL80s

AL80
full bouyancy -1.4
empty bouyancy +4.4
empty weight 31.3lbs

steel HP80
full bouyancy -8.5
empty bouyancy -2.5
empty weight 28lbs

Difference in empty bouyancy - 6.5lbs
Lost lead + less tank weight = Total difference in
weight on your body about -9.5lbs

$375 for both tanks.

Oh Richard I would love to take you up on your offer, but I recently had to purchase almost all new gear for this upcoming Australia trip. My credit card still hasn't recovered ;) Trying to keep it as cheap as possible for right now - thanks for your offer though!

No problem. I got ~25 tanks at home. I looked at the HP80s the other night and realized the analysis tape was dated from October ('06). #-o So obviously they aren't getting much use...

I just haven't gotten around to putting them up on Craig's list yet.

I have two aluminum 80 tanks for you--

Both were purchased about 5 years ago from Lighthouse. They are both in need of a hyrdro and a VIP.

Price without hydro & VIP (you do it yourself at your LDS): $50 each
If they for some strange reason didn't pass hydro, I would happily refund your money.
Price if I do the hydro & VIPs: $80 each

Or, will trade one for a 19 cf pony bottle.

PM me if you're interested.
