FS: Emergency Oxygen bottle

Post by RDW »

I have a newly reconditioned emergency O2 bottle for sale.
This is an "E" cylinder. 2015psi (steel)
I just had it hydro-tested last week. It is also cleaned, repainted and labeled. I also installed a new CGA570 valve. It is full of nice fresh Oxygen.
Asking: $60 for it. That's what I've got into it for service.

FYI: I always fill emergency O2 bottles at no charge for the dive community.

O2 bottle has been sold

Thanks for the responses. The O2 bottle is sold.
As I come across this sort of gear and I can properly recondition the units, I will post more on the group.

Randy-

Welcome to the board, Doug Steding here . . .

Happy to have you, but I have a feeling your posts may do a lot to tempt my tank addiction . . . (my friends think I have a problem, I think I can stop whenever I want).

Randy...I will fly by your place in 2 weeks. My O2 bottle is down to about 2000psi so if you can top it off for me, that would be wonderful!

I will call you!

Wow, that was a great deal.

BTW, Does anyone know how long I can keep the O2 in my emergency rig. I have never had to use it, (thank God and knock on wood) it is 4 years old and still full. I carry it on my Zodiac.
