Worthington 119s as Doubles or Singles...

Post by Sounder »

Selling two Worthington HP119s: $650 for them as doubles with bands and manifold or $500 for the pair as singles with "Pro-valves" (Yoke or DIN). Tanks are in-hydro and I'll put a fresh vip and cleaning on them along with any air or nitrox mix you want.

They're great tanks and have been on many wonderful adventures... some of which I'VE even dived them on! I'm thinning the herd a bit so I'm looking for a good home for them.

PM for Paypal info - first cash in gets them.

No, he's lost interest in diving. He's into guns now.

Give up diving for guns???? Worked just the opposite for me although I think I had other reasons for loosing my killer instinct.
Still have the guns just no real desire to shoot anything.

I'd love to have the tanks though. Just can't afford them.

Did someone say guns? You should come visit us over here, http://www.northwestfirearms.com/forum.php

I have the same forum name.

If I was ready to go doubles I would be in but I think I am still at least a year out on that.

For sure. Assuming I didn't want to stick with 130's like I use now.

Matt is correct in saying that I've always been a firearms enthusiast. There are a few events coming up that I'd like a very specific rifle & shotgun for. Given that I'm only diving 130s anymore (singles & doubles), I'm thinning the herd of the sets of 100s and the 119s.

Haven't lost interest in dIvIng, but for someone as time-strapped as I have become recently, things like shooting & golf have a much higher ratio of "doing" time versus "prep/clean-maintain" time.

I'm not giving up diving and selling all my gear, just thinning the herd a bit so I don't have to keep track of, maintain, and hydro tanks that I haven't touched in over a year so that others can use them.

Great tanks, and I know they would have been meticulously cared for, hope someone snaps these up - a great deal!

Personally I am amazed they have lasted this long. This is a very good price for tanks that are in hydro and vip and well maintained. Well priced 119's don't usually last more than a day.

WOW if I could find a way to get them to Sitka I would snap these up. I would love to have a set of 119 doubles or even 2 more single 119.

Anyone coming to Sitka to dive soon?

I've always heard the Jetsam folks themselves refer to it as a "gas extender" rather than a rebreather.

But here's a thought - how about if we allow this thread to go back to Sounder's original purpose: selling his tanks. I'm pretty certain that he'd appreciate it.

Some of us want Sounder to continue to own and maintain his tanks so they are ready to go when we want to borrow them... :angelblue:
