CUDA Scooter

Post by Maverick »

I am selling my Cuda, it has not ever been flooded, battery still has full charge range, has been very reliable for me during all of my deep dive. Just not using it any more. Price is $3200.00

includes
battery (new in summer 2011)
charger
o-rings
caddy for transport
fresh/salt weight pouches

the scooter is perfectly weighted and ready to dive.

thanks I hope someone enjoys it.

its a 650 motor and a 550 cone. I am pretty sure the motors are the same but thats what ben told me when I bought it. Had it on many tech dives, you'll love it. very maneuverable compared to my buddies 850, but his sure does cruise nice.

Indeed, the tail is all the same on all the Cuda models. (Except since Nov'12 they now ship wit programmable electronics)

Man, this is a pretty darn good deal on a 550 !!! I already have 2 cudas my wife will kill me if I buy a third.

but I personally I love the 550, very stable cruise and plenty power + runtime.

Good luck with the sale.. damn good deal..

I'll throw in a rigged monkey tank to sweeten the deal and really get set up to have a blast. :burntchef:

There's a pretty healthy group of folks diving with scoots regular enough. I've got 3 scooter dives already planned over the next month or so.

If I had extra cash layin' around, i'd be all over it... but that's not very helpful for you:) Someone's gonna get a sweet deal!
I think you've figured out the root cause of your problems. Even sea lions get annoyed by splitfin divers silting out their dive sites. Switch back to your jets and you'll be safe from the sea lion silt prevention patrol from now on. - NWbrewer

If only he would remove that last 0 before the decimal point I'd be a proud Cuda owner... Sadly, I will have to enjoy watching someone else play around on the Cuda...

don't know how. and haven't taken any. its black and has no stickers on it, and is not beat up but does have some scratches. It looks just like all the other factory non custom painted cud's out there, but the body is slightly shorter. which makes is quick in turning under water. hope this helps. thanks

Dive xtras Cuda!!

Post by Maverick »

I a selling my Cuda. I don't use it anymore. I am selling it for cheap so someone else can enjoy it.

Newer battery in summer 2011
xtra o-ring kit
fresh and salt weights
never flooded
battery removal cord
front snap bolt
leash with snap bolt
carry crate
smart charger

its a 550 body with a 650 motor. this is what i was told when i bought it from Ben. Its fast and maneuvers great because of short body. Has some normal wear and tear but no major dents or anything like that.

$3100.00 Bucks

Perhaps a Cuda 550 is a historic model. I can't find anything on a 550 on their website am I missing something?

550 preceeded the 650. The numbers signify the total watt-hours of the battery (NiMH).

Mine has the 650 Battery and tail. what ever that means. I bought it directly from the man BEN himself. hope this helps. I am happy to show it to anyone interested in it. Essentially it is a 650 with a 550 body.
